Details… how are you with them? There are times, quite frankly, that I cannot be bothered with them as I am already overloaded. Just give it to me simple and straight. Other times I will pick things apart to the minutia. I guess some of that just comes from age and wisdom (more wisdom than age please!) in as far as discerning what is important and what is not. Sadly it has been proven that my little explanation does not hold true… just ask my lovely wife. I like to think I know what is important, and to give myself some credit at times, I do, but sometimes… not so much.

Anyways, I am working on editing Connie and Isaac’s wedding and worked through this image and got me to thinking about details. It’s not a picture of the bride, it is not a picture of the groom but they are small pieces, easily overlooked, but important and weighty pieces that deserve due diligence.

I encourage you to see beyond the obvious, beyond your own sights… listen, see and dream. I think we’d all be a bit better off if we did those things.
