At the close of the 2013 wedding season I got to shoot Kenzie and Zach’s St. Paul engagement session.
It worked out just great that afternoon at Como Park. As I recall the rain stopped just about the time we got there. However what we did not expect, nor hear about until we were there, was that the conservatory was closing early that day due to a Halloween event they were having. So, we got there and had to immediately jump right into the shoot. They were only open for one half hour longer and that was all our pass was good for so we had to move… and move we did.
Having only shot a wedding at the conservatory… where the whole venue belongs to the wedding party… I was not accustomed to working in a tight timeframe with so many people around. They were all very polite and accommodated our shoot very nicely. Thank you all you folks that were at the conservatory that day!
We got outside and finished there. It actually was a beautiful late afternoon, early evening and the trees still had some color in them. I am glad we were there when we were… two weeks later there were no leaves on any trees. Fall comes and goes fast here in Minnesota. I am glad we were able to catch some of those wonderful colors.
I had a great time with Zach and Kenzie and am looking forward to their wedding next year.
Thanks you Kenzie and Zach!
