Light – Conquering my fears or reluctance?

I am starting out on a new journey here for awhile. I am acquiring some new lighting equipment and knowledge about working with light. I have worked so hard tp just use natural light for my portrait, wedding, journalistic type work and have run into so many limitations and times when things just needed that extra boost of light. I am not sure whether it has been reluctance to use artificial lighting or my fear of not being able to control it. Well that reluctance or fear is getting set aside as I make more and more use of all that is available to me.

I am looking forward to what is to come and the possibilities of both growing and creating. I am also looking forward to doing more portrait work and hope to provide some shining examples of such.

Moving forward, Bill

One Response to Light – Conquering my fears or reluctance?

Be brave! One of the best resources I can recommend is the Strobist website– it has some really great setups, usually using only one light.

    Enjoy!
