This was our third consecutive year at the Duluth Bayfront Blues Festival and we already have tickets for the 2027 festival so there…. now you know how we like the festival. It’s always lovely and relaxing getting to spend some time in Duluth. During the festival there is not much time for exploring and we were only in town the days of the festival. Deb and I agreed we need to set more time to get to know Duluth again. So much has changed. We still cannot get over the loss of the Electric Fetus. Anyway, the festival was awesome as usual. Weather was great Friday and Saturday was not bad but man the wind was cold off the lake Saturday night. Our stay at the Radisson was quite a disappointment after having stayed there several times in the past with no complaints. Music and performances were wonderful. Deb and I both tend to really enjoy the bands throughout the day much better than we enjoy the headliners. Maybe we just get wore out after the long day. But honestly a great time. Could use at least two more food trucks and a popcorn vendor (who would make a killing). But all in all like I said, a great time.
