We left our Twin Cities suburb and headed east through Wisconsin, eventually landing in Madison. The next day we toured Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center and the Unitarian Meeting House. Then the next day we left for Milwaukee and visited the Burnham Block as well as the SC Johnson buildings designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Then we took a day off to visit the zoo in Racine. Our last day we did the full Taliesin Estate tour with our wonderful host Dale.
It rained the entire drive on that first day. I was so grateful that was all the rain we received while in Wisconsin. The tours were all amazing. It was absolutely wonderful to see these places, hear the story of these places and of course to also learn more about the man himself.
I realized in processing I bumped the ISO of my camera up to 32k on the last dozen or so photos I took. They still turned out ok but hey, don’t take photos at 32,000 ISO. LOL I hope you enjoy these images half as much as I did making them.
